We are so excited that you will be joining our staff team on this new adventure.  Summer is an exciting time at Camp CUBBER and we truly believe that this summer has the potential to be one of the best summers of your life.  As we look ahead to working this summer, there are a few things that you will need to make sure you have done:

  1. Complete a background check.  A member of the camp office team will be contacting you soon to schedule a background check.  All of your information will be entered into the system at the time of scheduling (so that all you will need to do at the appointment is provide your ID and get your fingerprints taken).  When contacted by our camp office team member to schedule your appointment, you will need to know or have present your social security number and driver's license / state ID number.

  2. Send a picture of yourself (headshot style) for the staff directory of this site.  Please email to as soon as possible.

  3. Download, print, and complete all new staff paperwork (found below) and then bring completed camp paperwork to the camp office within two weeks of receiving the email link.  Completed paperwork can be returned during regular camp office hours (7:30 AM - 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM).  Forms may also be scanned and emailed back as long as they are complete.  Click each form below to download. Employment packets are also available for pickup in the camp office if you have trouble printing them.

    • I-9 Form (form requires a copy of your driver's license AND copy of either your social security card or passport to be valid).  You may chose to bring a copy yourself or bring those items with you when returning paperwork and we can make copies in our office.

    • W-4 Form

    • Direct Deposit Form

    • Child Protection Policy Acknowledgment Page

    • Abuse & Neglect Acknowledgment Form

    • Attestation of Good Moral Character

    • Character References - We need a total of 3 of these.  They should be filled out by an employer, former employer, teacher / professor, co-worker, pastor / youth pastor, or family friend.  Though the form says that the reference is to mail it back in, they may fill it out and give it directly back to you.  The required portion of the form is that they are able to "in good conscience" answer yes to the question: Would you entrust children to the applicant's care?

    • Bring a copy of your high school diploma, college diploma, a college transcript, or another appropriate document.

  4. Read the 2023 Camp Staff Handbook and sign the Acknowledgment Page affirming that you have read it.  Acknowledgement page will be required to be signed at or before the general camp orientation on Friday, June 2.

  5. Attend one of the two new camp staff orientations (Tuesday, May 23 @ 6:30 PM OR Wednesday, May 31 @ 6:30 PM).  Which new staff orientation you attend is completely up to you, BUT YOU MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE TWO.

  6. Attend the general camp orientation / training day on Friday, June 2 @ 1:00 PM.  This training is mandatory and must be attended.
